A Fly-In Fishing Adventure for Any Beginner

Keeper Lake is very special.  Keeper is where it all began for us at Nestor Falls Fly-In, it was the first outpost we purchased.

After our long days of closing down the cabins in the fall, Keeper is the lake of choice for the crew because it takes only a couple of minutes to catch enough fish for dinner and it has a great cabin to relax in at the end of a busy day.

We recommend Keeper for anyone who has had less fishing experience because the lake is well protected and broken up with countless sheltered bays which make this lake easy to get around on even on the windiest of days. No need to worry about getting blown around on this lake.

Keeper Lake is a very productive lake for Walleye and Northern Pike.  It would be easy for a group of four anglers to release 800-1,000 fish in four days! We would also recommend this lake for families because of the superb fishing action; if your young angler has a walleye fall off the hook, no worries, there will be another one right behind it ready to bite the hook.  Keeper also provides children with lots of water for exploring the rock cliffs and sandy beaches when they need to rest their fishing arms.
