With the abundant snowfall and below zero temperatures we experienced this winter here at Nestor Falls Fly In Outposts, I think I can say we are all anxious for spring to start. No one is more anxious than Dave for spring to arrive. The snow in our yard was not melting fast enough so Dave decided to give Mother Nature a jump start to thawing.

We have signs of spring; the narrows are opening up here at the base, the Loons, Geese and Seagulls are back. The temperatures this weekend rose to 71 degrees. There is water running everywhere and this should really help the water content in the ground and bring the lake levels up.
