Why did we select Keeper Lake as the place to set up our first cabin, thirty-three years ago? That’s easy!

For one thing, the fishing is absolutely superb! With its shallows being the home to many Northern, Walleye, and Perch, you won’t be able to reel them in fast enough before another one’s biting your line. To give you some perspective, it isn’t uncommon for a group of four anglers to catch and release a thousand fish over a four-day span. Or, if you’re the Britt party, almost 1,800 fish in just six days!

In stark contrast to all the action beneath the water, the countless bays make for quiet fishing spots and the rock cliffs offer protection from the wind, rendering Keeper Lake a calm and serene destination for some well-deserved rest and relaxation. After all, you’re going to need it after a fishing frenzy or two!
