Lount Gets An Upgrade

For those who are unfamiliar with Lount, it is a four-bedroom cabin built among the pines on a rocky point overlooking the bay on the English River System. You can stand on the deck to take beautiful photos of sunrises and sunsets!

The siding on the cabin has seen better days and it was time to give Lount a” little facelift”. We also decided to add a new roof, windows, and a sliding glass door while we sent a crew made up of Trueline Construction and Chris our dock boy up to work on the siding.

It took two Trubine Otter loads to get the supplies up then a third Otter trip to get the crew there! It took the boys three days and we think they did an awesome job! We are so looking forward for everyone to enjoy this facelift for their Lount fishing trip in 2020!

If you have never been to Lount, you would be pleasantly surprised at the plentiful Walleye, Northern, and Smallmouth Bass. It is a great lake for those who are interested in catching a variety of fish species and there is plenty of room to explore with roughly 14 miles on Lount Lake and 30 miles of the English River System!
