New Storage Shed at Larus Beach

It’s time to hibernate at Nestor Falls Fly-In Outposts.

The outposts are closed. Each of our planes is ready to spend December РApril on dry land. We just finished up one last construction project – an addition for the shed out at Larus Lake.

The 12′ x 16′ shed near the Larus Beach cabin is used for storage. [We’ve got to keep our equipment protected from the elements here. The low temps in January will be -7¬∞ or -8¬∞ below 0, plus 3 ft. of snow.]

Gerald of TrueLine Construction went up of course to build the addition. It didn’t take too long when he had helpers. Thanks, guys!

We’re looking forward to spending a couple weeks in Florida before the holidays. It will be great to be out in the sun, do some fishing, and relax after a busy year.
