Heard It Through The Grapevine

We love receiving notes from guests. And we particularly love receiving notes about how Nestor Falls has touched the lives of our guests’ friends and family. Here is a wonderful message from Jerry about Mr. Gustafson who heard about us “through the grapevine.”

“Hello everyone,

Hope you’re having a great season and are able to finish strong, weather permitting. I got a phone call last night from Mr. Gustafson from Princeton, Illinois. He called me a year or so ago to ask me about Nestor Falls Fly-In Outposts. He wanted me to know that he made the trip this summer and it was everything I told him it would be. In fact he came up twice! First to Lount Lake, and then to Larus Bay. He even told me a great story about how these canoe’s came across Larus one evening in a rainstorm, stopped at the Bay cabin and asked if they could pitch tents and spend the night. Permission was granted and they stayed the night, and then were gone first thing in the morning, leaving a nice thank you note on the back door. He went on to ask me about some of the other Lakes as he is already looking forward to coming back next year for a trip or two.

I was really excited to be able to listen to him tell how much he enjoyed the trips, how great the fishing was, the excellent cabins and boats, and especially how awesome and considerate the entire staff was in helping them to have a memorable experience. (The same things I have known and been saying all these years.) I just wanted to share this with you all, knowing none of us ever get tired of hearing good things. Kudo’s to all, keep up the great work.

I am not sure if I will be able to come up twice again next year, but sure makes for some wonderful dreams. Thanks for all you do, it is noticed and appreciated.
