Moose Sighting from the Sky
May 22, 2014
Any of our regular guests will be the first to tell you: there’s more to Nestor Falls than fishing. It’s about spending time in the wilderness, enjoying the sunsets, and experiencing the wilds of Canada.
On Mike Gardner’s fly-in fishing trip to Larus Lake, which is found in the Woodland Caribou Park, the pilot pointed out the two moose in the water. In the photo, you can see the silt tracks of a cow and a young bull in the river. “It was pretty neat,” said Mike.
A sighting like that is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. There’s only a few places in the world where it’s possible to have such a wild adventure, and fortunately, we live in one of them! We can’t wait to see all our guests this season and hear about their adventures.
