OH HAPPY SPORTSHOWS!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Winter up here in the North! Over the holidays we had pretty mild weather which did not make for very good ice. The falls were open out to cyclone point on Lake of the Woods. Pine Lake and Lake of the Woods had only 6″ of ice in some spots and in others much less. The Trout Lakes are in better condition because they froze over later. The New Year has brought colder weather with the temps being -30¬∫ C though today we woke up to +7 ¬∫ C which feels really warm after this last week and half. We now have about 9″ of ice after our cold spell.

Dave was in Chicago last week at the All Canada Show at Pheasant Run which was busy and turned out to be an excellent show with lots of interest and bookings. Thank you to all who came over to see us and book with us at the show!

This week our son Jon and Brody are in Knoxville, TN. Please join us at the fishing show January 21-24 at the Knoxville Expo Center if you are in the area. Show hours are:

Friday Noon – 9 pm
Saturday 10 am – 9 pm
Sunday Noon – 5 pm
