Reports from the First Trout Trip

Our first groups came back from Kay Lake this past weekend!

The Mackey party at the Island location reported releasing a total of 37 Lake Trout in two and a half days. The Prosser party at the Bay location reported that the Lake Trout were moving around the lake and evading their lures. But once they found the spots where the fish were biting, they released an incredible total of 20 trout in 20 minutes.

The weather was nice for their entire fly-in trip, and it’s only going to get better as we continue creeping towards summer. We can’t wait to give you more fishing updates on the next round of adventurers.
