Rest Assured with Kay Lake
August 9, 2019
It’s true that when you venture out into the wilderness, you never quite know what you’re going to find. But, our very own Kay Lake might be the exception! This spring-fed lake is so clear and pristine, you can see all the way down to its depths, even its 300-feet deep holes!
Visitors of Kay Lake frequently report catching over a hundred fish per day. It’s a fantastic location for catching record-breaking Bass, Muskie, and Lake Trout. The adventure doesn’t have to end here, though. From Kay Lake, you can also access two portage lakes: Derby Lake and Antsey Lake. Or we can fly you for a day fishing trip to Arrow Lake for some Walleye and Northern fishing for minimal charge.
You can rest assured that if you choose to spend your vacation on Kay Lake, you’ll have the almost four-mile long channel all to yourselves – aside from the loons, that is – as Nestor Falls Fly-In is the only outfitter occupying the lake. We have two cabins: the first of which is a four-bedroom that sits on a secluded island, and the second is a three-bedroom on a quiet bay with a wrap-around porch. Both cabins provide rustic relaxation and spectacular views of sunrises and sunsets!
