We had a great trip. For some of the guys in our group, this was their first trip of this kind. They were blown away. I’ve done over 30 Canada trips and this was up there among the best I’ve been on. We had unbelievable beautiful weather along with some fantastic fishing on Malaher. You can see how your catch & release program is really working on your lakes with the number of trophy fish we released. The most unusual sight was watching my boat partner actually catching fish, that was very unusual!

We released several Northern’s 40 to 46 inches and Walleyes up 25 1/2 inches. We were throwing jigs with soft plastics or salted minnows. They also found the spinner baits or mepps worked well for the Northern Pike.
