Sharing Your Stories: Mark Williams

This summer marked the 5th consecutive year for the Williams group at Cairns Lake. Every year, the Northwoods Olympics were held which included 5 gruelling days of competition centred on fishing, drinking and poker playing! For this year’s event, Tim took the Gold, Mark took the Silver and Joe claimed the Bronze. The fishing was awesome again this year. The Walleye’s, Northern and even the Perch were all hungry and aggressive. Also, the Nestor Falls Fly-In Team was awesome as they always are. Since we had clear skies most nights, a highlight was going to the end of the pier at 2 am with a cold drink to look up at the stars. The countdown now begins to our trip in 2019.
