Sharing Your Stories: Mike Britt

I always love telling my friends about the fantastic fishing at Nestor Falls Fly-In Outposts. There’s never a shortage of amazing stories to choose from and great catches to go on about. On one occasion after reminiscing about a trip to Nestor Falls Fly-In Outposts my friend said, “Wow! That sounds like the trip of a lifetime!”

His response got me thinking how easy it is to take things for granted.

It’s easy to forget just how truly special it is to be in the wilderness, shut off from civilization, with nothing to do but fish and decide how to fix the walleyes for dinner that night. Yes. My friend’s response to my story was absolutely right. A fly-In fishing trip to Nestor Falls Fly-In Outposts really IS a trip of a lifetime.

As I reflect on the last quarter of a century, I realize how truly fortunate I’ve been to have had not one, but 25 “trips of a lifetime” to Nestor Falls Fly-In Outposts. And I think it’s worth mentioning that I’m looking forward to my 26^th!
