TALL FISH TAILS
April 17, 2020
In a world of Social Media where Fish stories sometime emerge of the one that got away or it may have been a rumour it’s pretty much common knowledge that fishermen have always seemed to have the reputation for telling Tall Fish Tales…… Sometimes those stories result in fish being kept with their sizes still in questioned.
Dave and I always enjoy hearing your fishing stories, but as the saying goes, ‘Pictures or it didn’t happen’, Right? üòäWhen spending the day on the water there is no doubt that some truly amazing things can occur that you almost need to see in order to believe.
Dave once caught a Bear entering the cabin through the door window. He was taxing in with the plane and thought he saw something black going through the window. Sure enough when he arrived at the dock and went to have a closer look he was right! Luckily for them both the Bear went out the back door.
It’s always a thrill to watch the Eagles swoop down for the kill and soar off with its prey.
Everyone one has heard or told a story of the thrill of landing the ‘Big One,’ or the anguish and disappointment of the one that got away. As a matter of fact, it’s the same trip he’s been taking for the past 35 years BUT you don’t see, a 56-inch Northern everyday. The more times the tale is told the bigger it grows in our mind. Every angler wants the fish that will earn them the admiration, respect, and envy from other fishermen. Luckily today, with the popularity of cameras and cell phones, some of these moments can become easily documented.
Here at Nestor Falls Fly-In Outposts we are proud to say that we have guests that have been coming for over 35 years and we love to see all your pictures and videos, from your adventure with us.
