Tearing It Up at Nestor Falls Fly-In

Our 2015 season has flown by ‚Äì hard to believe it’s autumn already. It’s not hard to believe we’ve got work to do around the Nestor Falls base, though. The docks here could certainly use a bit of work!

The docks have been in service at Nestor Falls Fly-In Outposts for 30 years now. You thought they looked familiar each year, right? They’ve stood up well, but it’s time for a re-do. We’re tearing down the deck and crib where the scales sit ‚Äì don’t worry, the scales will be back. [You’re still only allowed to bring 100 pounds of gear, including your boat snacks…]

We’ll replace our 300′ docks with new floating docks for 2016. There’s always more work to be done here! Fortunately, the weather is beautiful and the leaves are changing. We couldn’t be happier to be outdoors.
