The Bear Hunt

Each season we take a group of hunters to one of our outposts for Bear Hunting. We only take one group each year to ensure an excellent hunt. Before the hunters arrived, Cody & Patrick baited the area (see pictures). Two of the baits were already being hit during the hunt’s preparation, so we were excited for the Korsch group to arrive.

The weather was quite hot while the hunters were here. Marc Korsch, his father Friedrich, and Erik Pain -all from Florida- saw a total of 5 bears and brought down 1. All-in-all, they had a great hunt and enjoyed the trip to the wilderness of Northwestern Ontario.

Though the bear hunt is over for now, the fishing season is still going strong and Moose Hunting is just around the corner. Stay tuned for more stories about our guests’ various adventures!
