Watch: A History of Lake of the Woods

Nestor Falls is on the Eastern side of Lake of the Woods, a huge lake in Ontario. It’s absolutely beautiful! (In fact, it’s so beautiful, we built our home on its shore just off of Highway 71.) But Lake of the Woods expands way beyond Nestor Falls. It’s 70 miles long and wide, and contains over 14,000 islands.
