Your Crazy Fish Photos

February 9, 2016

Nestor Falls Fly-In has been in business for 30 years ‚Äì so we’ve got plenty of crazy photos! We’ve been looking through our photos and found a good one we just had to share with you.

Walleyes usually tend to eat smaller fish or minnows. But Alvin Landry, one of our guests, brought us a photo of a Walleye with a mouse in its mouth! You can see the back legs and tail of the mouse sticking out like it was a snack that was a little too big!

Back in 2013, the Walleye-mouse combo was caught by Todd Landry on the western portage lake at Herod. Alvin and Todd also caught a double-rainbow on Herod Lake. It must’ve been a lucky day!

We’ve also had folks send us photos of a huge Muskie sinking its teeth into another fish at the side of the boat and of two fish caught on the same lure at the same time.

It’s crazy what can happen when you’re fishing up here for a week or so!

Escape to the Wilderness,
Dave & Michelle
